Hey dude, I just found this awesome game on the internet, it's called Beatman and it's really fun.
My high score is 750000 points. How high can you get?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Damien read all this sitting at his computer dressed in his school uniform with only 5 minutes left till he had to leave. This would cut it close he thought, as he clicked on the attachment and selected run on the pop-up menu.
It sat in the program as it transferred from the email to the computer. The security Bots walked over and opened it up, scanning the contents with their one large lens of an eye. When they scanned It with a yellow beam of light the eye went an alarming red and it knew it had been spotted. The guards emitted a hash series of sounds, obviously communicating with their superiors. It was nervous, at a moment's notice the higher up could order its destruction and it mission would have failed, It wouldn't fail, It couldn't. Inside It burn a need, a desire to destroy and delete everything It could. This was Its mission, Its sole purpose in life and It would not fail.
As the game finished downloading a little chime sounded and a window opened saying "Norton has detected a virus in "Beatman" and suggest immediate abortion of download. Damien jumped, why would his friend send him an email with a virus? He decided on a cautious approach and clicked the Delete button.
It heard a whine and then a loud, Clunk! Clunk! Clunk! Clunk! As four large impenetrable walls slammed up around it, It knew immediately what was happening, It leaped at the walls which were shutting It inside the program where it had been hiding. It desperately battered at the walls but they were too thick, too well made. It was far too cumbersome to fit into what little cracks there were and far too weak to force Its way through.
Program isolated, Deletion beginning Damien read. 'Man I'm so questioning Ben on this' he thought to himself.
Then It heard the sound, a high pitch mechanical scream and red beams of light flooded the newly made prison. It knew what they were, It tried to run but it was trapped, It desperately tried to hide beneath the other files in the program but the beams were relentless systematically deleting Its cover till they reached It. The first beam removed his movement codes. It was paralyzed, helpless. The next beams deleted Its ability to manipulate files, now It could not fulfill Its mission of destruction. It screamed in despair, defiance and defeat as the beams slowly dissected It, next to go was Its sight, no longer could It see the beams but It felt them take It apart, piece by piece by piece. At last all that was left was a need to destroy, and then, nothing at all.
"Virus deleted" said the Norton box. 'Great.' Replied Daniel, before grabbing his bag and running from the room with only 4 minutes left before he had to go to school.
A short story I wrote for a challange of who could write the best death scene.
I tried to get people to look at their actions on the computer in a new way and make them wounder what being a program would be like.
